Video Player Spotlight: Tegra Tshabola
- Updated: August 10, 2021
It doesn’t take long before your eyes are drawn to Lakota West offensive tackle Tegra Tshabola. The 6-foot-5, 340-pound Tshabola is always the biggest “dude” on the field. He uses that size to define his “power and brute force, big and nasty,” style of play.
Tshabola helped pave the way as Lakota West (8-1) made its first-ever regional finals appearance last fall. He was named OPSWA Division I First Team All-Ohio and First Team All-TriState Football for his work.
Before the beginning of his junior year, Tegra verbally committed to Ohio State. It was a great decision. That afforded the senior time to add more dimensions to his game. This offseason Tshabola worked on becoming a more agile lineman. Improving that mobility could take his game to a whole new level. Lord have mercy on the linebackers and defensive backs that he pancakes on blitzes.
