Blanchester’s Mulvihill voted POW

Michael Mulvihill of Blanchester was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 9, registering 1,663 votes (22.03 percent).
The freshman ran for 222 yards with six touchdowns on 21 carries and threw for another 98 yards as the Wildcats won for the fourth time in the last five weeks.
He edged out Jared Smith of East Clinton and Carlisle’s Talon Borders in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 18 players were nominated with 7,549 votes casted.
