Johnson Tabbed the Division VI DPOY

Deer Park senior Norey Johnson was named the 2021 OPSWA Division VI Southwest District Defensive Player of the Year. Johnson did it all for the Wildcats registering 128 total tackles, had a fumble recovery and two interceptions. He also found the end zone 21 times (15 rush, four rec, two KRs) and amassed 1,579 all-purpose yards (954 rush, 304 rec, 321 ret). Johnson has offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Duquesne, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.
