This is the 12th season of football for Switzerland County and in 2025 they had a school record eight victories. The first eight years the Pacers never finished above .500. The last three campaigns have all been winning one’ for the programs, compiling a 20-12 mark in that span. Head coach Ryan Jessop who has been at the helm since the beginning, now looks for his team to take the next step and bring home the school’s first ever sectional title.
The teams that Switzerland County will play were a combined 42-50 (.456 winning %) in 2025. The Pacers will only face three squads that had winning records a year ago and none of them had more victories than SC had in 2025.

FINAL TAKE: Teams win games in the trenches and that will be the strength of this squad. Switzerland County has the size that their opponents will be envious of. That group of “hosses” is led by Grayson Levell, one of the top small school players in Indiana, in the Class of 2028. The Pacers will need that leadership up front as SC must replace every skill position player except Masin Stroud. If that unit gels this will be another successful season.
The big hurdle to winning a sectional 39 title and the next phase in the evolution of this program will be figuring out how to get past Brownstown Central. The Braves have knocked Switzerland County out of the past two playoffs by a combined score of 105-8.
