TriStateFootball, Blitz 5 Partnership Returns for 2026

TriStateFootball.com and WLWT Blitz 5 high school football partnership

TriStateFootball.com and WLWT-TV’s Blitz 5 are teaming up once again in 2026 to deliver the Tri-state’s most comprehensive high school football coverage.

The partnership, which began in 2018, enters another season with TriStateFootball helping administer the Blitz 5 Game of the Week Tour while creating weekly content surrounding the featured matchups across TriStateFootball.com, TSF’s social media platforms and WLWT.com.

One of the highlights of the partnership will once again be the Blitz 5 Top 25 powered by TriStateFootball.com, providing fans with weekly rankings of the top high school football teams from across the Tri-state throughout the 2026 season.

The 2026 tour will feature 10 marquee matchups spanning the Tri-state area beginning with opening night on August 21 and continuing through the final weekend of the regular season.

“We’re incredibly excited to continue growing our partnership with Blitz 5 and WLWT,” said TriStateFootball co-founder and Publisher Dan Clasgens. “For nearly two decades, our mission has been to shine a spotlight on high school football throughout the entire Tri-state area. Working alongside the Blitz 5 team allows us to bring even more attention to the players, coaches, schools and communities that make Friday nights so special.”
