The 13th-ranked Taft Senators moved to 2-0 on the young season, picking up their fourth straight win over the Alter Knights with a big 33-27 overtime road victory.
Alter (1-0) built a 27-7 lead early in the fourth quarter, but the Senators rallied by scoring 20 straight points to force extra time. Ninja Hill came up with a huge interception and returned it to the 1-yard line to set up the game-tying score.
Taft (2-0) travels to Chaminade-Julienne while Alter is headed to London-Stockton for Week 3 action.
