There is only one box left to check off the list of accomplishments for Anderson and that is winning a state championship. The Raptors have fallen in the Division II state finals the past two seasons to Avon. Add in three straight regional crowns and you can put this program in the category of a perennial powerhouse.
Anderson has all the experience, tools and pedigree to continue its fabulous run. The Raptors return every skill position player from an offense that averaged 42.7 points per game, had 80 offensive touchdowns (46 rec, 34 rush), amassed 6,876 yards of offense, 458.4 yards per contest (346.1 pass, 112.3 rush, a year ago. Outside of filling in a few holes at linebacker the Raptors defense looks stout as well. The unit has given up just a combined 12.9 points per game over the past two campaigns.
