Bellbrook Tops Tipp, Ends Streak

TIPP CITY, oh – A pair of fourth quarter touchdowns propelled Bellbrook past Tippecanoe. The Golden Eagles victory ended the Red Devils 24-game regular season winning streak.

Bellbrook senior Jack Kosin ran for a career high 117 yards and his first two varsity touchdowns. He also had five tackles, two pass breakups and recovered a fumble (the game’s only miscue).

The Golden Eagles racked up 277 yards on the ground on 67 carries.Four players had between 10 and 16 totes. Kenton Gerdes chipped in with 71 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Tippecanoe was led by quarterback Larkin Thomas who had 148 yards and two touchdowns passing. He is now 24-3 as a starter. Grant Titley was on the receiving end of those scoring tosses. The senior caught six balls for 100 yards.
