Burgbacher steps down at Tippecanoe
- Updated: March 17, 2015

Marc Pendleton of the Dayton Daily News is reporting that longtime Tippecanoe head coach Charlie Burgbacher has resigned. Burgbacher has spent the last 26 years with the Red Devils leading the program to the playoffs 11 times (all since 2002). In 38 years as a head coach he compiled a 258-136-4 record.
Burgbacher is not done coaching. He will take an assistant’s position on Troy’s staff where his son just got hired as the Trojans head coach.
Our sources are telling us that there is even more coaching shakeups to be had in the CBC Kenton before the school year lets out.
