Ludlow’s Blackburn Voted WCPO POW

Ludlow quarterback / linebacker Justin Blackburn was voted the Mercy Orthopedic Player of the Week for Week 3, registering 2,639 votes (26.3 percent).

He accounted for 356 yards of total offense (210 rushing, 146 passing) and four touchdowns as Ludlow moved to 3-1 with a win over Gallatin County. He also had seven tackles (five solo) for the Panthers’ defense.

Blackburn edged out Ryle’s Mitchell Bateman and Pete Lampert of Moeller in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 13 players were nominated with 10,028 votes casted.

We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Shows coming in mid-to-late February at Holy Grail at The Banks (more details coming soon).
