Recruiters liking Class of 2019 linemen
- Updated: May 9, 2017
The first wave of local recruits in the Class of 2019 has seen recruiters liking long, strong and mobile linemen. Early returns on this fall’s juniors has yet to show its true depth. All signs point to this being another rock solid group going on to play Division I BCS football in a couple of years.
Walnut Hills DL Jowon Briggs was the first one to make an impression reruiters as he started getting his offers before his sophomore campaign. He will be able to pick and choose where he wants to go with Power 5 conference schools licking their chops to get at this kids raw talent. Lakota West DL Steve Faucheux is in the same boat as Briggs. His stock is sky-rocketing this offseason.
On the other side of the ball OL Zeke Correll from Anderson and Moeller OL Zach Carpenter are just getting the offer train rolling and it is far from running out steam. Carpenter has started since he was a freshman at Moeller. The last of the Correll clan, Zeke is something special and his best football is still ahead. This duo has all the tools to be very successful and productive at the next level and beyond.
