Conner rolls past Lloyd

Conner ran off the first four touchdowns of the game and cruised to a 40-28 win over Lloyd on Friday.

Cooper Gullion was 16-for-28 passing for 267 yards and two touchdowns, and he also rushed for 60 yards and a pair of TDs.

The Cougars’ Jaylen Watkins caught five passes for a game-best 148 yards, including a 93-yard score in the first quarter. Jeremy Lyle added seven catches for 85 yards and one TD.

Christian Webster also rushed for two touchdowns as Conner ran out to a 40-14 lead before surrendering a pair of fourth-quarter scores.

The Cougars will host Campbell County next week while Lloyd travels to Newport.
