TSF Rankings Update: Week 8

Chances are you are within 15 minutes of at least one meaningful game this week. The schedule is loaded with big time matchups throughout the region. Jockeying for playoff berths and first round postseason home games is far from being decided. Sit back and enjoy the show as the final three weeks are going to be filled with drama.

Here is a look at how things are shaping up after Week 7:

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
Brutal schedules are catching up with some teams. This week that trend looks to continue. The marquee matchup on Friday is No. 2 Colerain at No. 8 Fairfield for sole possession of first place in the GMC. Only two teams in the poll remain unbeaten. One of them, No. 3 Centerville faces a tough road test at No. 6 Northmont…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
Nine of the teams in our rankings won last week. There is no punishment for No. 3 La Salle who fell at Ohio Division I No. 1 St. Xavier. Top ranked Winton Woods will host Ohio Division I No. 4 Elder. The home team Warriors have beaten the Panthers in each of the last two seasons. The combined record of the Top 10 is 65-5. RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
For a second straight week, nine of the teams in our rankings were victorious. Newcomer No. 10 Reading gets to find out what they are made of as the Blue Devils host No. 1 Wyoming on Friday night. Four teams in the polls are still unblemished…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
Once again the poll remains the same from a week ago. Friday night promises to be special including red-hot No. 5 Campbell County at No. 2 Simon Kenton. The only team in the rankings that plays a school with a losing record is No. 1 CovCath who hosts rival Highlands (3-4)…COMPLETE RANKINGS
