TSF Rankings Update: Week 10

There is time for one more audition as many teams are clinging to playoff hopes in Ohio. Friday night is loaded with quality tilts. There are going to be a lot of cheers and tears in this final weekend of the regular season. Here’s what’s in store heading into the final week of the 2018 season:
RANKINGS – OHIO DI
The matchup between #1 Colerain and #2 Fairfield did not disappoint. The Cardinals retain their top spot with the 55-27 victory. The Indians and JuTahn McClain showed the heart to remain right behind them in this week’s poll. The three GCL South schools have had a rough go since Week 4. They have combined to go just 3-7 in non-conference games. Meanwhile, the cream of the crop in the GWOC continues to beat up on each other, leaving everyone to wonder, just who is the league’s best team. The following teams In Region 3, #3 Springfield, #4 Northmont have already clinched playoff spots while #9 Miamisburg and #10 Wayne must win and then get some help to get a berth. In Region 4, Colerain, Fairfield and Mason have clinched playoff spots. With wins #5 Moeller and #6 Elder will get berths while #9 St. Xavier is clinging to a slim postseason lifeline.… COMPLETE RANKINGS
RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
One thing has remained very consistent since the second week of the season and that is the play of #1 Winton Woods. The Warriors are in the top spot for the first time in 2018. They continued to crush opponents by 25.0 points per contest during their current eight game winning streak since falling to #3 Trotwood-Madison in the opener. As for the Rams, they were stunned in overtime, falling to 29-28 to unranked Xenia. Trotwood-Madison (Division III, Region 12) is now in a fight for its playoff life having to face Division I #8 Wayne in the finale. Winton Woods (Division II, Region 8), #2 Alter (Division III, Region 12), #3 Kings (Division II, Region 8), #6 Troy (Division II, Region 8), and newcomers to the poll #8 Fenwick (Division III, Region 12) and #9 Bellbrook (Division III, Region 11) have clinched playoff berths. With a win #7 Edgewood (Division II, Region 8) is in while #4 La Salle (Division II, Region 8) and #10 Harrison (Division II, Region 8) need a victory and some help. Six teams are vying for four playoff spots in Region 12. Eight teams are still alive for five berths in Region 8.… COMPLETE RANKINGS
RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
One newcomer to the poll #10 Waynesville draws the unenviable task of trying to win at unbeaten #3 Madison Senior on Friday night. That isn’t the only great battle as #1 Wyoming is at #5 Indian Hill, #4 Taft host #8 Aiken and #6 CHCA entertains unbeaten and unranked MVCA (Division VII, Region 2). Only two playoff berths remain in Division IV, Region 16 as Wyoming, #2 Clinton-Massie, Taft and Indian Hill will be playing the first weekend in November. With a victory Aiken is in. Madison Senior has clinched in Division V, Region 20. Needing a win and some help are #7 Batavia (Division IV, Region 16 ), CHCA (Division V, Region 20), Waynesville (Division V, Region 20) and #9 Madeira (Division V, Region 20).…. COMPLETE RANKINGS

Our lone newcomer to the poll this week #8 Newport Central Catholic welcomes in #3 Beechwood in one of two matchups between ranked teams. Looking for back-to-back unbeaten regular seasons, #1 Covington Catholic hosts #5 Campbell County…. COMPLETE RANKINGS
