Top QB’s in NKY

There are two very accomplished quarterbacks, Cam Hergott and Caleb Jacob in Northern Kentucky. They are the gold standard and have something every other signal caller south of the Ohio River strives for, a state championship ring. The 2019 campaign saw quite a few quarterbacks have breakout performances. This season will be fun to watch, as they take the next step toward reaching new heights.

Here is a look at the top returning quarterbacks in Northern Kentucky.

QUANTEZ “TEZ” CALLOWAY (Holmes), Sr – Can hurt you with his feet and arm. Look for Calloway’s rushing yards to really increase this season.

JACOB DAVIDSON (Lloyd Memorial), Jr – Fast on his feet and smart with the ball. Davidson is not afraid to get after it . He has the ability to throw for 1,000 yards and run for 1,000 yards in a season.

CAMERON HERGOTT (Beechwood), Sr –  The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Hergott is 8-1 as a starter in the playoffs including helping the Tigers to the Kentucky Class 1A state title in 2018.

LOGAN LANDERS (Dixie Heights), Jr – Confidence really shot up for Landers down the stretch last season as the Colonels won three of their final four games. Dixie Heights will be a handful to deal with the next two years with Landers leading the offense.

DREW WARTH
(Cooper), Jr – With a year under his belt as a starter, Warth should look much more polished. If he can cut down on his 17 interceptions the Jaguars will post some big numbers on offense.
