2023 TSF Cincinnati OPOY: Jordan Marshall
- Updated: February 20, 2024
It was another honor and milestone for Moeller (10-5) senior running back Jordan Marshall as he became the first player to ever be named the TriState Football Cincinnati Offensive Player of the Year twice, as TSF paid tribute to the area’s finest from Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Southeast Indiana at the Year in Review Show on Monday night, in front of a packed house at the Holy Grail in downtown Cincinnati.
Marshall was named the 37th recipient of the coveted Ohio Mr. Football award this past season after running for 1,550 yards, with 30 receptions for 394 yards and 21 touchdowns (17 rush, four rec) as Moeller (10-5) won its third straight regional title. He topped the 100-yard mark rushing 10 times in 13 games.
A decorated career, also saw Marshall earn the OPSWA Division I Ohio Offensive Player of the Year, OPSWA Division I First Team All-Ohio, OPSWA Division I Southwest District Offensive Player of the Year, GCL South Athlete of the Year, First Team All-TSF and TSF Cincinnati Offensive Player of the Year honors for a second straight year.
He is the Crusaders all-time leading rusher with 4,787 yards and also had 73 receptions for 1,219 receiving yards, 6,196 all-purpose yards and 80 touchdowns scored (65 rush, 15 rec) wearing #24 at Moeller. Marshall has signed with national champion, Michigan.
Other 2023 TriState Football Cincinnati Offensive Player of the Year finalists included seniors Brodey Berg (Anderson), Luke Dunn (Withrow), Talon Fisher (Fairfield), J.J. Miller (Williamsburg), Armoud Seals (Taft), Nathan Webster (Milford) as well as juniors Justice Burnam (Anderson) and Jayel Harris (Purcell Marian). This is the second nomination for Fisher.
TriStateFootball.com was founded in 2005 and started its postseason awards in 2007. Marshall is just the fourth player to be nominated as a TSF Cincinnati Offensive Player of the Year Finalist three times joining C.J. Hester (Wyoming), Corey Kiner (Roger Bacon) and Miyan Williams (Winton Woods) as members of the prestigious group.
