The EIAC saw three of its young stars, Crue Gilmour (Lawrenceburg), Mason Lane (South Dearborn) and Camden Kaiser (Batesville) make the IFCA Class 3A Junior All-State Team. Gilmour threw for 1,897 yards, ran for 764 yards and accounted for 37 touchdowns (26 pass, 11 rush) with only three interceptions as the Tigers won the Class 3A, Sectional 30 title and finished 10-2.
Lane has been a dominant force for the Knights the past two seasons. He heads into his senior year with 132 tackles, 10.0 sacks and 20.0 tackles for losses in his career. On offense, Lane has run for 772 yards and nine scores at the varsity level.
Kaiser is a rising star who has all of the enviable intangibles for a big man. He should see his stock skyrocket this offseason as the offers begin to pour in.
