TSF Rankings Update: Week 9

Dreams of perfection ended for Centerville, Winton Woods, Sidney, Clinton-Massie and Ludlow last weekend. With two games left in the regular season only Simon Kenton, Covington Catholic, Bethel-Tate, Valley View, Wyoming, Goshen, Trotwood-Madison, Belmont and St. Xavier remain unbeaten. Simon Kenton is actually 9-0 and St. Xavier has the area’s longest winning streak at 14 games and counting.

Here is a look at how things are shaping up after Week 8:

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
No one dropped out of the Top 10 but the deck has been reshuffled. Big wins over quality opponents saw No. 3 Elder, No. 4 Northmont and No.6 Moeller boost their playoff possibilities. Look for more shake ups in the poll with a schedule loaded with big time matchups in Week 9…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
For the third time in the last four weeks we have a new school topping the rankings as No. 1 Trotwood-Madison takes the throne. The Rams have scored 56 points or more in each of their last five victories. Unbeaten No. 6 Belmont recorded its sixth shutout of the season. RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
Despite losing to Division II-III No. 10 Goshen, No.3 Clinton-Massie only dropped on spot in the rankings. Newcomer No. 10 Madison Senior is on a roll having won five in a row. They are one of six teams in the poll that have won at least five straight…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
For the ninth time in the last 10 seasons No. 2 Simon Kenton collects nine victories. The Pioneers close out the regular season hosting No. 3 Ryle in a quest for their fifth consecutive 10-win campaign. Newcomer No. 8 Lloyd deserves the ranking after knocking off then No. 7 NewCath for the first time since 1991…COMPLETE RANKINGS
