Slow starts have plagued Bethel-Tate in recent years going 0-5, 1-4, 1-3 and 0-3 out of the gate the last four seasons. Head coach Jeff Essig would love nothing more than to see his Tigers get out of the gate fast this fall. It would be a big feat if they could as the team will feature a new backfield including a very inexperienced quarterback. It’s going to be an uphill battle, senior leadership will need to lead the way early on.
