2022 Snapshot: Mount Healthy
- Updated: July 12, 2022
Not playing down to their competition will be the biggest concern for Mount Healthy going into the 2022 season. New head Coach Jordan Stevens says he’s “Excited to Want MORE for this team, this school, and this community.” The team will get an opportunity to show their coach they can give him “more” as their schedule features only two teams that had winning records in 2021.
The Owls are full of speed on offense and defense which they look to use to get out to a fast start this season.
Establishing the run will be important for Mount Healthy as 27 of their 33 touchdowns came from rushes. Staying in the right mindset is crucial for this team as they won’t face a challenging schedule but don’t want to get comfortable.
With a good combination of experience and new talent, the Owls are looking to have a breakout 2022 campaign.
Division III, Region 12
2021 RECORD: 6-5, 2-3 SWOC
COACH: Jordan Stevens (0-0 at Mount Healthy, first year; 0-0 overall)

Javier Etheridge, Jr, WR/DB – The all-around star did a little of everything last year on his way to nine catches good for 176 yards and three touchdowns to go along with a couple of rushes and reps as a punt and kick returner. He also made 10 total tackles as a defensive back to round out his sophomore campaign.
Jai’Mier Scott, So, WR/DB – The young star will look to continue his momentum from a stellar freshman season where he hauled in nine catches for 177 yards to go along with three picks on the defensive side.
