With nearly a month of football under our belts the cream is starting to rise to the top in Northern Kentucky. Week 4 brought us some lopsided affairs.
NO. 25 BEECHWOOD 45, SIMON KENTON 6
Beechwood topped 40 points for the third game in a row, and remained undefeated after a 45-6 shellacking of Simon Kenton Friday night in Beechwood.
The Tigers took control from the start and pasted the Pioneers both offensively and defensively throughout. The Beechwood defense is allowing only 6.3 points per game on the season, while the Tiger offense is averaging 49.6 points a game.
Beechwood moves to 3-0 on the season, while Simon Kenton drops to 2-2 on the year.
The Tigers square off next Friday against Covington Catholic, while the Pioneers travel to Conner.

NO. 14 COOPER 35, CAMPBELL COUNTY 7
Cooper got back to the .500 mark on the season Friday night in Union, having little trouble with Campbell County, defeating the Camels easily by a 35-7 score.
The Jaguars led 21-0 at halftime, and continued the domination in the second half on their way to the victory.
Cooper moved to 2-2 on the season, and has won two straight after opening the season
0-2. Campbell County falls to 2-2 after a 2-0 start.
The Jaguars will host Louisville Dupont Manual next Friday, while the Camels host undefeated Lloyd Memorial.
NO. 13 COVINGTON CATHOLIC 49, DIXIE HEIGHTS 7
Covington Catholic won its second in a row Friday night, and did it in style with a 49-7 drubbing of Dixie Heights.
The Colonels heated up early and continued to pour it on to take the annual Battle of the Colonel Highway.
Dixie Heights falls to 0-4 on the season, while Covington Catholic evens its record at 2-2.
