Class of 2022: Offers & Commitments

It is another banner recruiting class for local talent in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. The group of upcoming seniors, the Class of 2022 is loaded with players that are not only going to play on Saturday’s in college but who also have a legitimate chance to be suiting up on Sunday’s, four, five or six years from now.

Ohio State already has three Class of ’22 commitments from Southwest Ohio – Tegra Tshabola (Lakota West), Jyaire Brown (Lakota West) and CJ Hicks (Alter). The Buckeyes came up barren in this corner of the state a year ago. Alabama lands a local player for a second straight season – Elijah Brown (Wayne). The Crimson Tide also inked Devonta Smith (La Salle) from the Class of ‘21.

Reigning Ohio Division I state champion, St. Xavier has six players with FBS offers – Cameron Collins, Max Klare, Grant Lyons, Brogan McCaughey and Brian Parker.
