2025 TSF Kentucky OPOY Finalists

There are 10 finalists for the 2025 TriState Football Kentucky Offensive Player of the Year. Seven of them are seniors and three are juniors. Five are quarterbacks, three are running backs, one is a receiver and one is a tight end/running back. 

In the 19 year history of this award, Cam O’Hara becomes just the second player to be nominated for this honor three times (Quincy Perrin, Scott – 2017-19). Kaleb Evans and Cash Harney are the 24th and 25th players to be nominated for this honor two times. 

The members of the All-TSF Teams, the TSF Teams of the Year, Players of the Year and finalists from Indiana, Dayton, Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati as well as the Mella Windows Players of the Week will be recognized at the TriState Football Year In Review Awards Show on Monday, February 16th, 2026 at the Holy Grail- Banks – RSVP 2025 TSF Year In Review Show

Here is a look at our finalists for the 2025 TriState Football Kentucky Offensive Player of the Year.

Eddie Bivens, Newport Central Catholic, Sr, RB – Was named KFCA Class 1A, District 5 Player of the Year, NKFCA Top 28, Second Team All-NKY and Third Team All-TSF. Bivens ran for 1,389 yards, had 22 receptions for 218 yards, found the end zone 28 times (24 rush, 3  rec, 1 IR) and snared three interceptions on defense for the 8-5 Thoroughbreds. He finished his career with 2,040 yards rushing, 29 rushing touchdowns, 37 receptions, 450 yards receiving, four touchdown catches, seven interceptions and two pick-sixes.

Kaleb Evans, Lloyd Memorial, Sr, QB – Was named KFCA Class 3A, District 5 Player of the Year for a second straight season, NKFCA Top 28, Honorable Mention All-TSF for a second straight season and TSF NKY OPOY finalist for a second straight season. Evans was the catalyst for the 13-1 state semifinalist Juggernauts. He completed 69.1% of his passes for 2,471 yards and 36 touchdowns along with two rushing touchdowns. He finished his career with 5,345 yards passing, 70 touchdown passes and six scores rushing.

Tyler Fryman, Beechwood, Jr, WR – Was named KFCA Class 2A, District 5 Player of the Year, First Team All-NKY and First Team All-TSF. Fryman had 62 receptions for 1,320 yards (21.3/rec), 283 yards rushing, 30 touchdowns (23 rec, 4 rush, 3 PRs), 35 tackles, one forced fumble and three takeaways (2 INTs, 1 FR) for the 12-2 Tigers. He heads into his senior year with 126 receptions, 2,671 yards receiving, 37 touchdown catches, 544 yards rushing, 12 rushing touchdowns, 53 total touchdowns, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Fryman, a Louisville baseball commit, holds football offers from Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Memphis, Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, Miami (OH) and Toledo.

Mason Fields, Dixie Heights, Sr, QB – Was named NKFCA Top 28. Fields set the Dixie Heights single season records with 2,669 yards passing and 28 touchdown passes. He also set three other Colonels school records this past fall – most passing touchdowns in a career (41), most yards passing in a single game (408 vs. Collins) and most passing touchdowns in a game (7 vs. Collins). Fields has committed to play for Louisville.

Dylan Gaiser, Covington Catholic, Sr, RB – Was named NKFCA Top 28, First Team All-NKY and Honorable Mention All-TSF for a second straight season. One of the most productive two-way players in Northern Kentucky the past couple of years. Gaiser ran for 1,238 yards (second straight season with at least 1,200 yards on the ground), had 22 receptions for 238 yards, found the end zone 26 times (24 rush, 2 rec), was in on 46 tackles with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for the 9-4 Colonels. He finished his career with 2,680 yards rushing, 42 rushing touchdowns, 42 receptions, 445 yards receiving, three touchdown catches, one punt return touchdown, 108 tackles, five takeaways (4 INTs, 1 FR) and a pick-six.

Cash Harney, Covington Catholic, Sr, QB – Was named NKFCA Top 28, Second Team All-NKY, Honorable Mention All-TSF for a second straight season and TSF NKY OPOY finalist for a second straight season. A dual-threat beast at quarterback, Harney had his second straight season with more than 1,000 yards both passing and rushing. He finished his final campaign with 1,941 yards passing, 1,002 yards rushing and 27 total touchdowns (15 pass, 12 rush), along with 22 tackles and a fumble recovery. Harney amassed some outstanding numbers during his career throwing for 3,904 yards, running for 2,667 yards, accounting for 70 touchdowns (35 pass, 34 rush, 1 IR), along with 78 tackles, one forced fumble, one safety and seven takeaways (5 INTs, 2 FRs).

Tayden Lorenzen, Highlands, Jr, TE/RB – Was named KFCA Class 4A, District 5 Player of the Year, First Team All-NKY (ATH), NKFCA Top 28 and Second Team All-TSF (TE). Lorenzen accounted for 24 touchdowns (18 rush, four rec, two pass), ran for 541 yards, caught 26 balls for 321 yards and had an interception on defense for a 10-3 Bluebirds squad. He has an offer from Miami (OH).

Keagan Maher, Cooper, Sr, RB – Was named NKFCA Top 28, Second Team All-NKY for a second straight season and Third Team All-TSF. Maher churned out 1,460 yards rushing (second straight season with at least 1,400 yards on the ground), amassed 1,768 all-purpose yards, had 23 receptions for 308 yards and found the end zone 25 touchdowns (23 rush, 2 rec) for the 8-4 Jaguars. He finished his career as Cooper’s all-time leading rusher with 4,097 yards as well as racking up 4,951 all-purpose yards, 854 yards receiving on 73 catches and 72 touchdowns (61 rush, 11 rec).

Cam O’Hara, Cooper, Sr, QB – Was named KFCA Class 5A, District 5 Player of the Year, NKFCA Top 28, NKFCA Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-NKY for a second straight season, Second Team All-TSF for a third straight season and TSF NKY OPOY finalist for a third straight season. O’Hara threw for 2,231 yards, with 26 touchdown passes and three scores on the ground for the 8-4 Jaguars. The Western Kentucky commit finished his career with 11,227 yards passing (top 10 in Kentucky history), 126 touchdown passes (most in Northern Kentucky history and top 10 in Kentucky history) and eight rushing touchdowns.

Emmett Queen, Beechwood, Jr, QB – Had a breakout junior campaign completing 71.4% of his passes for 2,710 yards with 39 touchdown tosses (only two interceptions) and six rushing scores as the Tigers went 11-2 and made it to the Class 2A state semifinals. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Queen has offers from Kentucky, Arizona State, Southern Mississippi, Miami (OH), Toledo, Eastern Michigan, Harvard and Dartmouth.
